Hi, I am very happy!!! I received a phone call from Dr Kaul this morning, and he said he is very happy to take me on as NHS patient, I just need to get referral from my GP. I have an appt for week after next with one of the senior GPs so hope this will get the ball rolling!!! Things are changing for the better. Also collected my script from the pharmacy today, on 30mg prednisolone for one week, then reducing over the next week to 5 mg on a regular basis. BARBARA

Hi merryberry, he is based at the Royal Free at Hampstead. Quite easy to get there from here, jubilee line to Belsize Park and a short walk, may be as quick as getting to Guy's. BARBARA

Hi Christine, oooohhh!!! I didnt know about the scleroderma unit!!! Sounds very impressive. Hopefully at my appt on 12th Feb I will get results of the tests, the official ones anyway, as the consultant at London Bridge hosp said that the haemophillia unit may not know what to look for. Really looking forward to transferring over though. Feel more confident about treatment now BARBARA

yes its has a scleroderma unit .And its where poff Denton works and Dame Carol Black . They take on diffacult cases if scleroderma is involed . i am very luckey as my Rhumalolist used to work there and has seen scleroderma so i have no worries about him .He is a good man .( i don,t need to go yet to London ) I have only been there for the scleroderma AGM .Yes easy to get there i also belive there is a bus from Kings Cross ???? They see lots off people with overlaps there .So i think you will get along great . Chrissy The chocolate eating housewife ...The washer woman .....naughty lady
